It stays on through showers, workouts, and sleep, exactly the way it's designed to. If you ever need it off, a chain can be cut with a wire cutter and reattached later for a small fee.

The Weld
A trained team member custom-fits the chain directly on you and welds it closed. It takes just a few minutes and there's no heat on your skin, only a small spark near the chain itself.
Wear It
Walk out wearing it. No clasp, nothing to remember to put on. If it's ever removed, bring the chain back in for reattachment.

What is permanent jewelry?
A length of gold chain, custom-fit to your wrist or ankle and welded closed directly on you. There's no clasp, so it's designed to stay on.
How do I remove it?
If you ever need it off, the chain can be cut easily with a wire cutter.
What's the difference between solid 14k gold and gold-filled?
Solid 14k gold is gold all the way through. Gold-filled is a thick layer of gold bonded to a base metal core, which makes it a more accessible entry point while still holding up well day to day.
How do I book an appointment?
Schedule through our booking link and note in the appointment that it's for permanent jewelry, so we can plan for it.
Can I add charms?
Yes. Charms are chosen in person at the atelier and added to your bracelet or anklet at an additional cost. They're not available to select online.
What if I already have my own chain?
We'd be happy to make it permanent. If your chain is suitable for welding, we can permanently weld it for a $45 service fee. If you're unsure whether your piece will work, bring it with you and we'll be happy to assess it during your appointment.
Can permanent jewelry be a gift?
Yes. Purchase a Mama Bijoux gift card for the value of the chain your recipient wants, and they can book their own appointment to get welded on.
What if my chain breaks or is removed?
Save the chain and book an appointment for reattachment. There is a $45 reattachment fee.
